The start of the season is slated for 14th August 2010. The champions Chelsea will start the battle with the recently promoted West Bromwich Albion while the second positioned Manchester United will fight it out with Newcastle United which was also recently promoted. The season will also feature a new debut in the form of Blackpool who will visit Wigan Athletic on their first match.
Fans will now be able to see their favorite matches especially those involving the first four teams of last season. One of the most anticipated games is that between Arsenal and Chelsea slated for 2nd October and Chelsea and Manchester united on 18th December and 7th May. The other interesting game to watch out for is the battle between Liverpool and Arsenal who were third in the previous season. The tension builds up as there are some interesting games that will lead to a heavyweight finale. These dates are still provisional and subject to change.
